Best Books for JEE Preparation

Only books you need for IIT

This will be a comprehensive list of the best books you can use for JEE Preparation. I have personally used most of these books. These are useful for 11th, 12th, as well as droppers.

1. HC Verma: Best book for Physics. Awesome theory, examples and problems as well. Beginner friendly.

2. IE Irodov: Best problems for JEE Advanced preparation. Must solve for AIR top 200 aspirants.

3. Cengage Maths series: Good theory and relevant for JEE. Useful for both coaching and self study students.

4. A Das Gupta: This book is underrated but has very hard questions. Must solve for JEE Advanced top 500 AIR aspirants.

5. Solomons & MS Chauhan: Best book for organic, good theory and problems.

6. JD Lee for JEE: JD Lee’s legendary book but relevant for JEE

7. P Bahadur Physical Chemistry: Best book for physical chemistry, good problems.

8. JEE PYQs: This set has Previous Year Questions of both JEE Main and Advanced of many years. Must solve to get a hang of the exam.

These are the only books I suggest apart from your coaching and NCERT text books, and should be more than enough.
