You are in a very unprecedented situation right now: less than 30 days left for JEE Main 2023. Pre boards/Practicals on the head, and panic all around.
So much syllabus left to do - what now? Worry not, I am here to help you with all of this. Just follow this plan.
1. List down the Top 30 Chapters
There are probably some 20-30 chapters you already know decently. I am not talking about JEE Advanced level, but enough to score decent score in JEE Main (for those chapters).
If you can learn 30 more chapters in the remaining 30 days, you will be in a VERY solid position. Not the easiest task, but not an impossible one if you plan well.
You cannot study 30 chapters if you aim for chapters like Electrochemistry, Rotational Mechanics, or Vectors. But if you plan the chapters well, you can do it.
How to do it?
You should solve chapters that are either:
Partially covered already
Easy to understand
Small in size
This is a fairly straightforward instruction - basically do chapters like Kinematics, Fluids, Atomic Physics, Statistics, Inverse Trigonometry, Binomial, Surface Chemistry, Biomolecules, Mole concept
Avoid chapters like Centre of Mass, Rotation, Electrochemistry, Equilibrium, Indefinite Integration like the plague (unless you have already covered them partially).
We will do these chapters during boards (class 12th chapters) and for April attempts, for now focus only the 3 types of chapters above.
If you plan smartly, you can cover more than 50% of the JEE syllabus till January attempt, and score a decent enough score to give you confidence to do REALLY well in April (200-250 or more!)
2. Make a 10 hour timetable daily
Planning is of no use if you don’t study. And by study, I mean study hard. You cannot succeed if you put half hearted efforts, you will have to make this exam the sole focus of like till JEE Advanced.
There are many students who have been working super hard for 2 years, even 3 years. You cannot expect to win against them with mediocre effort. But if you study 10-12 hours daily, you might be able to do it.
Make a proper routine that involves 10+ hours of real study, cut off all distractions. This exam can make your life, and you better focus on doing it well.
3. Focus on input, not output
If you keep thinking about the past, you will not move forward. You can always wake up as a new person, every day is an opportunity to be a new you.
It doesn’t matter if you “wasted” your last 1 or 2 years, just move forward with your best effort. Increase your study input, the output WILL come.
That’s it, now go study! if you have any queries you can ask me here in comment/as a reply.
