Okay, so the results of JEE January are out and quite a few people are unhappy with it.
I have seen many students from the first shift (27th Jan) say that their percentile is low compared to their score.
Let me as a reply what your result was, and if you found it unfair.
Whether you did well or not - you need to put this in the past and move on.
You still have board exams, April attempt and JEE Advanced to focus on.
If you did well (better than 97 percentile), great - now focus on JEE Advanced.
If you scored under 97, prepare for JEE Main April attempt (along with boards for class 12th students).
Sit down with your January attempt paper and see what you missed out on. What was the number one reason you couldn’t do your best in the exam?
Find it, and work on it. Maybe you didn’t give your best, maybe the day was not yours, maybe you didn’t practice enough.
Doesn’t matter - see the January attempt as a practice round and get ready for April. You still have time to improve, and I am sure you will.

I dont understand how bad/good my rank is
I only got a 99.66%ile and yea that feels good but then again I didn’t reach the coveted 99.9 which was within grasps at this point and that feels so bad.
