I think the consensus on the exam is the same as always - Maths was doable but lengthy, physics was moderate, chemistry was easy. There were little Physical chemistry, mostly NCERT based questions from inorganic/Organic.
Let me know what your exam was like in the replies!
If you have done well, your next focus should be JEE Advanced. You know what to do, and you should start doing it right away.
This post is more focused on students who have not done well (not upto their expectations).
I want you to take a few hours off, and introspect deeply why you could not perform to your potential.
Maybe you started late, maybe you were not focused, maybe your day didn’t go well. Whatever it is, you must promise yourself to do better in the next 3 months leading to April attempt.
You still have a lot of time, see this attempt like a test. When I gave JEE, we didn’t even get 2 attempts. Instead of thinking of this attempt as a “wasted” attempt, see it as practice for the main April attempt.
With this shift of mindset, your goal should be to cover all the shortcomings you had in the first attempt. Use this attempt as the motivation for next attempt and give your best.
As more attempts happen, I will send out more posts on how to proceed.
If you need more help, you should enrol in my JEE 2024 crash course. Many of the questions in the paper were directly from this course (just like every year - because this course is to the point and meant for last time backlog coverage + revision). I have covered both 11th and 12th, all three subjects myself.
You can get a discounted price of Rs 2999 (50% OFF) using this link till 2nd Feb - https://www.acadboost.com/courses/JEE-Main-Advanced-Crash-Course
